Dear unseen (is that a sadness?)
Regarding raw beets chafing the esophagus, ain't that the truth? However a technicality of no technology but altered chemistry in air drying eliminates that malnutrition for moi of mouth tried, if thorough.
This is reportedly a hybrid so one might comically think we would all get heebie jeebies from them. Yet my anxiety of the taste shriveled up coincedently when my husband forgot goitrogens are off the grocery list and I set them aside to psyche myself up for fermentation's recovery. I didn't know how to grasp the risk; my raspy voice was just disappearing because of a peaceful pause in putting any of these on my plate. It seemed to tip off itself as an autoimmune no-no. And then thyroid information denouncing it as a good dinner choice unheated while its own menu of symptoms included a hoarse throat, I didn't want to be buttering a debate but even take the theorized debilitation though it was a brief exposure among my new cart regulars.
So when hubby handed me the bag of garnets, I tried to be considerate as his attempt. 12345678910, where's my brain? I couldn't just trash them like rrepeating twice was good enough for a stressed guy... who had already been quizzed that he wouldn't eat them. So in my wishy washy state they dehydrated! Into a different preservation. And experimentation showed a salvaged one, because the sugared item now didn't have a bitter strength as the gist when ingested.
The leaves are like a new salty dash as they crumble with all their minerals... and no complaints by me now, yet it's still weekly made in a compromise or less since I'm no expert.
