I hardly do any prep at all - just go for the kill :-0

Besides, for those with candida - not a particularly good idea to be drinking gallons of sugary apple juice. You could take the Malic acid beforehand - tried it and really don't see any difference.

I have not tried any of the bitters yet though, that might be a better route.
