In my experience there is a direct correlation. While not an alcoholic, I noticed my interest in, and thus consumption of, alcohol increased quite a bit prior to figuring out I had candida, and after changing my diet and getting candida overgrowth back into balance, the trend reversed. We all want the best quality treatment - that is why we are here after all. But, there is no quick fix. Eliminate Sugar and grains and that will help a lot in your desire to drink. Make sure your liver and bowel pathways are in good working order for eliminating candida. If you decide to take an antifungal, Grapefruit-Seed-Extract (grapefruitseed extract) is a good one to try. Liver support in the form of slymarin and Livatione Plus or Liverite, and some NAC and chlorella are good to add to your routine for liver support. If yo get constipated, do an enema, as you need to keep "going" to get the toxins out.
Good luck! I think you have happened upon something here that will help you.
