Yes, they sure messed me up big time. Small problem became HUGE problem. Most heartburn/reflux is actually due to a lack rather than overabundance of stomach acid. There are some exceptions, but not too often. Candida will grow when there is not enough stomach acid, opposite of body where you need to be more alkaline. So, I alkalize for the body, but supp with HCL (hydrochloric acid) for the stomach acid, but only at meals. Seems to be working for me. . .
