I had very similar experience last December. Came on fast, lots of cramping, pain, sweats, nausea, feeling like I was going to die. All sorts of interesting stuff spewed out of me (BM-wise). Crawled into bed and woke up feeling amazingly wonderful. Detox can happen in layers - maybe you got a layer out!
