my guess is that you are too acid due to diet. environment dictates the function and population of the body.

no, i have no experience with the liver/gallbladder support from mh.

the small amount of alcohol doesnt bother me. if it does you, just pour into some hot liquid and the alcohol will quickly evaporate. btw, i have a horrible alcohol intolerence. two drinks and i am passing out.
