Good luck with the raw diet Maggie, you sound well prepared for it and in tune with what your body needs.

Austin sounds like a great place! Yes when you've been ill for a while, you really value access to good quality food. I'm lucky too, there's an excellent organic supermarket called Out of This World just 5 mins walk from me....theres only 3 of them in the whole of the UK. Its not that big but sells a great variety of stuff you cant get in the regular chains, apart from food, a lot of chemical free stuff too...shampoos, household stuff etc. They're very ethical too....mostly free trade. Its a shame they've not been able to expand but most people still cant afford organic food there, its quite expensive, or they dont consider it a priority. Plus the larger chains can afford to sell their organic stuff cheaper.

Did you taste the aloe yet?
