I only used raw organic goats milk, but I still got mucousy sometimes....it might have been a leaky gut problem actually.

Thanks for the good EM info. A week was the bare minimum for my AEM and I was impatient to get started on it anyway. I'll definitely brew for longer from now on and start adding things to it.
