The fact that the pain weakens after a bowel movement indicates that the pain is from your bowel (not your pancreas as a previous poster incorrectly intimated).

Yes, slightly below the liver.

Pain on the left-side is a classic marker of intestinal candida, as candida sets up base camp around the splenic flexure which is on the left side of the body (where the transverse colon meets the decending colon).
