Man, I understand every single one of you who posted on this topic. I too have been battling this crap for a while. I still have my doubts on whether or not this is trully candida or not. I have had all the tests. Blood several times. CT scan with contrast on my kidney area. I also had an MRI done on my head. The ER doctor ordered the MRI. He noticed fluid build up behind my eardrum and I was getting horrible dizzy spells and Migrane headaches that made me partialy blind in one eye for about 20 minutes. Muscle cramping and twiching, weight loss, fatigue, brain fog/fuzzines. Dim vision, sore joints, constipation or the screamers (never in the middle), abdomenal pains, major gas, sore neck and back, the list goes on. Well all of this stuff scared the ever living crap out me. Yet all the while, the doctors said I look good and my blood tests all come back normal as well as the other test.

I may have had candida all along, but when I was placed on Doxicylcline for a month and then followed up with a run of Septra for ten days. I was into my Septra for 10 days and I hit rock bottom. Bed ridden, the works. I even had a slight reaction to the Septra, as it caused me to break out in small little red spots all over my back and underarms. This stuff is not good. Don't use it, EVER. My thoughts are this; My Antibiotics killed off all of the good bacteria in my intestine and that's when all went down hill. Mind you, I may have had candida all whe while, only it wasn't as noticable then. The meds just brought it to a head. Needless to say, I am still battling this stuff and it's been a hard, depressing and emotional roller coaster.

Well, with the doctors not giving me the answers I needed, I researched the internet for others that are suffering from the same symptoms. I found this board. I then deciced to take the Candida spit test. Man, I tested posative for Candida for sure with this test. Although, I am not sure if this is an acurate way to test for it. I still wound up going on the diet and suppliments. For one week, I was feeling pretty good. Since then, I have felt like crap all over again. Only, I still have more energy than before. I have just recently had issues arise on dry mouth, eyes, nose and sinuses. Also, I have small tender spots in certain places on my body. So, as things change, I start to wonder... Is it something else? Why is this happening now? Die off? It's no wonder why doctors around the world tag a person as a nut case. We have, without a doubt, a condition. Only problem is, the AMA wont recognise that Candida can be a problem. I would imagine we will see more people like us coming out of the wood work as time presses on. With the over usage of Antibiotics for sicknesses that don't require them, the situation is only going to get worse.

I am now scheduled to see a Naturopathic Doctor on the 10th of May. I hope he can shed some light on my situation. It's driving me insane.

I will still stay on my diet and suppliments. I am hopeful that I can beat this. I am sure you will too.
