I was reading your posts regarding the blackstrap molasses and lemon and had a few questions. Are you talking about doing The Master Cleanse program by Stanley Burroughs (sp?)?

If so - do you think that following a protocol like that would be benefical for someone with Candida issues? Even if it is not a full fast, but say using the mixture during the day and having one or two light meals.

I had done a 25 day modified Master-Cleanse fast two summers ago with a month break and the another 12 day fast. I basically fasted on lemon juice, water and caynne and I think now that lack of nuitrients (which would have been provided by the molasses) lead to my downfall as I very quickly stopped metabolising my thyroid medication, got very sick and am now completely deficient in essential fatty acids, magnesium, calcium and iron.
