I had the same problem as well. I was all but non-functional, couldnt get up off a chair to save my life for over 4 years until thankfully my osteopathic doctor who had been treating me for chronic pain started asking me some questions and based on my answers sent me for a full panel of tests - specifically the free T3 and T4s.
