I know exactly what you mean. I have the "stubborn family" issue as well. I just do my own thing as they do theirs!! I make a big salad for example, and have a different dressing than they do. Also, I never go to the trouble of making two separate meals. I've only been a raw foodie for several months, and it's so much easier than I ever thought. You do not have to spend time making fancy raw meals. A meal can consist of an avocado and a salad, a handful of soaked nuts and a salad, a bunch of assorted fruit, some veggies and hummus or salsa, lots and lots of simple choices. And the best part is no pots and pans to clean up. Although I do have to clean my juicer once daily.

Also, I did not add fruit immediately to my raw journey, but began with the veggies, nuts and seeds. It wasn't long before I was able to add the fruit without a problem.

Here is a salad dressing recipe from Lapis' great blog In The Raw....

Sesame Seed Dressing

* 1 cup sesame seeds
* 2 cups filtered water for soaking sesame seeds
* ˝ cup Rejuvelac or filtered water
* ˝ cup chopped parsley
* 1 T. fresh oregano, chopped
* 1/4 cup olive oil
* 1/3 cup lemon juice
* 1/4 cup Nama Shoyu or 11/2 t. Celtic Sea Salt

Soak seeds in water for 2 hours. Drain. In blender, combine seeds and other ingredients. Blend until creamy.

There are lots more delicious easy recipes here:

Join the ranks and become a raw foodie too!!! You will not regret it and your life will expand in more joyful ways than you can imagine!

Blessings....
