"So although Lapis is right about raw stuff, many of us are too messed up to be able to tolerate it right away."

Your never "too messed up" to live in balance and correct the problems that create your symptoms such as candida overgrowth. Infact, the more "messed up" one is, the more they need to get on proper nutrition and reduced toxicity asap.

There are many variations of practicing raw. Many people don't go all the way, which is a huge problem or eat anemic foods from a regular supermarket which is also a problem, or indulge in too much fat, etc. Raw done correctly, will create an internal environment that rebalances candida and anything else that is out of balance. Again, it's all about toxins and lack of nutrition, never hunting down "candida." Symptoms are clues, not targets.

It's all about creating an internal environment that fosters, nurtures and creates health and won't allow the creation of any disease process in any form. This is done by proper nutrition and getting toxins out of your system. If we continue to ingest toxins and poor quality nutrition, we will never get ahead. One must break the cycle and get ahead of the "game."
