Your body won't react to sugars if you don't over indulge in fats (especially bad ones) and protiens (especially animal protein). Cooked food of any kind also seems to set up a negative synegetic reponse. Try going 100% raw (low fat), and see if your fruti tolerance magically changes. Give it a few days to a couple weeks before you further adjust.

The reason that things like kale leave you feeking great is their high mineral content. if you can ever try properly grown wheat or barley grass grown with ocean water you will find a near optimal food source. It is sunshine and minerals animated into food.

For growiing your own, grow it outdoors preferably in raised beds or deepper than average trays. You want good drainage as this kind of grass is not a bog plant and too much water will support mold growth and rot. Get an ocean water product and water your wheat per instructons. Rotate as many trays needed to always have a fresh batch. Obtain a wheatgrass juicer.

Check amazon for any of the Lone Pine series of Edible plants. I have the one for the Rocky Mountains. They make several different ones for different locations. Depending on your area, there are people that give edible plant tours for a hands on approach. I recommend both the book and the tour. Know any natives or shamans?

I know people who live sole on this type of wheatgrass and eat nothing else and have a lecel of health most people can't imagine.
