That really sucks about your records. I'm pretty sure my records are FILLED with lies. I've known this for a long time because everytime I'd go to a new doctor they would insist I see a phsychiatrist...right off the bat. Without even kmowing me or listening to me. Every single one of them treated me the same so I know there is some really bad stuff in my files. Everyone has told me to get the records because there must be lies written in there but they want 25 cents for each page in my records. We're talking alot of money because my file is THICK. I can get them sent to my new doctor for free but then then I'm assuming I still wouldnt have access to them.

Michelle...I dont really think there is a cover-up regarding candida and Antibiotics . Antibiotics cause C-Diff infections and there is no cover-up. Everyone is aware that Antibiotics cause c-diff overgrowth and nobody's out there denying it. C-Diff can and does kill people so its much worse than candida. Why would they deny that antibiotics cause candida but acknowledge that they cause deadly c-diff infections? Also its no secret that antibiotics cause yeast infections but systemic candida...thats another story altogether. Personally I dont buy into it...I believe candida overgrowth can occur but if it were truelly systemic you'd be in the hospital fighting for your life. I once argued with an infectuous disease specialist about this because at the time I thought I DID have systemic candida. He laughed at me and totally ridiculed me. To this day I have alot of anger when I think of how this guy treated me but at the same time I'm not afraid to admit I was wrong...and I do feel that I was wrong.

Also, if we we were all in perfect health (no underlying issues) and if we took probiotics and did the proper follow-up to taking antibiotics (probiotics to restore normal flora) we wouldnt be sitting here with candida. Its not necessarily the fault of the antibiotics but its the fault of the person who perscribed them without telling you what to do to restore the beneficial bacteria.
