If you have candida you most probably are magnesium deficient. I was offered magnesium injections but I decided against them as I was told they can be very painful. I now take magnesium glycinate which appears to be fairly well absorbed. I am sorry you reacted like that to the magnesium supplement - maybe you could try another brand or experiment to see if another form suits you better - even try tiny doses to start with?
