I eat a pristine diet of almost all organic meats and veggies and have for three years now- yet I still have candida. Diet is extremely important- but sadly if illness has already overtaken your body, then it becomes difficult to restore through diet alone.

I too wish I would have fed my grown children better. But we learn by what we see and look at the standard American diet- SAD indeed. We do what we know- and at least we know better now! I am teaching my daughter a better way, although we still battle becuase it's so different than the way everyone else eats. We saw a lady feeding her children Little Debbie cakes and crackers for breakfast the other day- AAARRRGGG!

As for bringing in the "big guns" that sounds a great idea- but sadly, I fear that might backfire for most of us. I'm already having burning and pain in my gallbladder all the time now and I think it would just explode if I took any Diflucan right now! Yikes!
