Probably not on candida growing in the intestines. Medical Science actually considers the intestines to be "outside the body" in many respects. Consider that the intestines are constantly full of undigested food material. Obviously, this is foreign matter to the body, and yet there is no immune system response. If a candida cell somehow entered the blood stream of a person with an intact immune system it would be attacked in short order. But candida growing in the intestine appears to largely ignored, or tolerated, by the body's immune system. The same thing applies to lactobacteria.
