actually most of the hard stuff should be fine ~in small amounts~. when i drink a shot in a day i have no problems at all, and believe me i have an incredibly strong 'radar' for stuff that affects my candida. (which is why i picked out that 1 brand of alcohol that affected me that way, and it was minor.) i eat the strictest diet of anyone ive come across even on this board.

ive also heard from a naturopath doctor small amounts of distilled alcohol is not harmful for candida. (he recommended a max. of 2 shots a week though).

alcohol is one of those tricky things. in small amounts i feel it can be beneficial. but its one of the worst possible things to over-do it on.
