Amanda,

Citricidal is a registered name for a triple potency of GSE. ANY company can use Grapefruit-Seed-Extract or Citricidal in their formulas, but neither Grapefruit-Seed-Extract or Citracidal contains triclosan. That chemical must be added. Did you know that when you use a soap or cosmetic that contains triclosan and wash with water that is treated with chlorine, you are creating a deadly gas that you can breath in and it will accumulate in your cells until ??????? Any one who uses any kind of cleanser that is antibacterial and has triclosan is slowly killing themselves!

GSE is an extract of grapefruit seeds, it is not a chemical. Not only is it safe to use, it is WIDELY used around the world in hospitals as a disinfectant, and many situations that involve animals and breeding, replacing alcohol and bleach, both very toxic.

I have been using liquid Nutribiotic Grapefruit-Seed-Extract (glycerin and GSE), for over 15 years, maybe longer. I also buy it in capsules from vitacost.com and use the NSI brand (great deal!).

You are denying yourself an inexpensive and non toxic antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti parisitic, that also kills molds and yeasts, without harming you in any way. I would suggest you change brands and contact each manfacturer about unlisted ingredients to satisfy your quest to make sure you are getting a pure product.

I have included a great link about GSE and it's uses.

Here is the breakdown of Citricidal (Note, it is non carcinogenic!)
