I would suggest Epsom Salt baths and the use of pure aloe vera (use from the plant if possible) or organic coconut oil to soothe the area. Putting a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide or 10 drops of grapefruit seed extract in a distilled water douche will help to clear up the infection quickly in that area.

I feel so bad for your mom! I hope you can find relief for her quickly.
