Michelle, do you know what kind of chelation your friend did? i.e. what drug/chelator was she given, and how often?

Vitamin C drips are a good idea as they ameliorate symptoms of mercury toxicity.
Glutathione pushes are a bad idea (for reasons I won't go into).

Do you know if she was given DMPS injections?
