Thanks for the message. You may very well be right. But at this point I prefer to believe that a permanent cure is possible. IF I can implant healthy colonies of lactobacteria in intestines, I should be OK. Now, maybe I have a genetic condition that makes lactobacteria implantation extremely difficult or impossible. If so, I can live with it. Even if I was fully cured tomorrow, I would never go back to my old eating habits. I will always limit the amount of carbs I eat. And I intend to make yogurt, kefir, and cultured vegetables a permanent part of my diet for the rest of my life. I think that's a heathly decision even for someone without candida.
I would prefer to use a strong prescription antifungal to "clean out" my intestines before I try megadosing with probiotics. Frankly, I can not find a MD in my area that will give me a prescription. So, oil of oregano will have to do. If it lives up to it's reputation, it should do the job. I have decided to gone on a high dose of oil of oregano for a full two weeks before I try the megadosing.
Removing amalgrams is a controversial subject. I consider it to be an extreme measure that is expensive, inconvenient, and painful. I will only have my amalgrams removed if it becomes absolutely necessary. It will be the very last thing I do to try to beat candida. Besides, a lot of people without fillings have candida. And a lot of people with fillings do not have candida. It's hardly an open and shut case.
