Hi there Remi,

I am very new to this board and do not know your full story but from this particular post, I was prompted to write and ask about this.

Have you been tested for hypothyroidism? I myself was diagnosed about 2 years ago. Before I was diagnose - and even after while getting the med levels correct, I too experienced uncontrollable crying. Anything and everything set me off. I happened to read a heart warming story about a family who provided coats to thousands of needy children and while it was a touching story, it set me off into a crying jag that lasted 4 hours. Definitely not a proportional reaction.

It is only now as my doctor and I are finially getting my thryoid levels to close to normal that I do not cry as much. Candida and hypothyroidism seem to go hand in hand - like the chicken and the egg.

aside from that test, my other advice is to be kind to yourself. Do what you need to for you - the rest of the world will still be there. I did lots of baths, massages, counseling, reading, journaling. It is comforting to me now to know I wasnt crazy and that I wasnt turning into a lunatic like I felt at times.
