I have heard that Cipro can be pretty rough stuff. Otherwise, killing the bacteria that are currently present is just going to open up for more Candida.
I just want to add a couple of things that I have found in my research.
A Water Fast for 1 or 2 days seriously weakens the Candida.
After I do this, I zap a full session with the copper handles and footpads using 2500 Hz.
Following the Zap, I will cleanse with Epsom Salts . This flushes everything out of the intestines, including breaking the old junk away from the intestinal walls.
Starting about 30 minutes after taking the Epsom Salts , I start replinishing my bacteria. Kefir (10 different microbes), Smoothies(6 different microbes), or Yogurt (should have at least 4 different microbes, check the label) are preferred simply because the bacteria are live and active. With most probiotics, the bacteria are in suspended animation and can take a couple of hours to recover. By that time, the yeast has already taken over.
I take about a tablespoon full of one of the three about once an hour or so. This provides a chance to build up good bacteria before the yeast can sneak back in.
This is not permanent, but it is a good jump start. Eating cultured foods several times a day after this helps keep the Candida down.
Good luck.
