You likely stirred up toxins with this enema. I used to feel pretty crappy after colonics and enemas for this very reason. After doing them for a while (several months) the reaction was less and less severe each time, but required much rest and recovery between stints in the beginning. It seems that no matter what path is taken, there is torture of some degree involved in getting well, lol! But seriously . . have you considered going from the inside out? What I mean is, using a product you ingest, such as Oxypowder , to get the junk out of the colon? That way there is no "push back" of toxins into the system, which I think happens because with an enema, you are actually pushing up with the influx of water/solution, before gravity takes it back out the other way. That part is speculation, tho, I have not read it. But, I have definitely experienced toxic backlash from enemas and colonics. Lately I have had incredible results from NAC in helping to neutralize toxins - it is really helping my liver's phase 2 process. NAC is necessary for glutathione conjugation, which in turn is necessary for phase 2 liver detox, which in turn helps keep that "is this toxicity or is this die off" feeling at bay. If phase 2 is not working properly, toxins will stagnate and recirculate instead of geting bound and pulled out (via stool, skin, lungs, urine, etc.)
