thanks a lot! i will have to try this out. right now that rash is the least of my worries - it only looks gross but doesn't itch or anything. i would like to get rid of it by summer time though. did you lose pigment or did you get darker patches? and how long did it take to clear up?

btw i do scrub my back every day with a brush to help remove dead skin so i will continue doing that along with your suggestions.
