The only problem is the diet. When you combine what you can eat on the Candida diet, mixed together with what you can eat on the Alkaline diet, you are left with very little. For instance, on the Candida diet, you cannot have the grains that the alkaline diet allows. And I've read that many veggies that are allowed on the Candida diet, are considered acidic, as is most protein. And of course you cannot have fruit of any kind, so that limits the alkaline diet. So what are you left with? Pretty much a very limited vegan diet and no one can live like that long term. To me, that is why supplementing with an alkalizer is so important. I am trying to find a good one now.
