hi,
I am looking for support and advices from any experienced raw foodist. my diet is pretty good wth lots of fruits and nuts, few barely cooked vggies, although I often taste many other foods, including fish, eggs, dairy and meat ( just taste, VERY small amounts). The problem is not me, but my family, husband and 19 months old baby. I don't know how to introduce them to raw foods and find difficult to find recipes that can satisfy them.
I cook or prepare myself every single thing we eat, but I feel it's not enough. My hsb refuses to eat salads and other cool foods as long as weather is so cold. And baby is used to have whole cereal (durum wheat, oats, basmati rice) or potato and other starchy food based meals,so far she never did accept ANY raw veggie, although she loves thwm steamed ( I also noticed that, if I do not stam them enough, she passes thm 100% ubndigested), and few fruits, in small amounts. she loves dried fruits (nuts, dates, raisins and such) but, can I feed her a dried fruit based diet ? I don't feel so.
Basically, I am looking for good recipes - substitutes for breads/cakes are needed here - and maybe a site that can help me plan this change I want to lead my loved ones through without much trouble.
My goal is to bring them to be at least 50% raw without eliminating any "bad" food ( this must be up to them & their feelings )but just preparing wonderful raw recipes that will make them naturally choose to eat raw foods rather than others.
I do not have dehydrator, just a standard juicer and a good blender.
thanks IA everyone.
