You bring up some good points.

I would also like to suggest that as we are positively or negatively affected by the synergistic effect of our total environment, including air, water, what we put on and in our bodies, exercise; that there could be a synergy in a certain combination of foods, herbs etc. that could have a much more profound impact taken together than any one or few of the items taken alone.
