Firstly, thanks to dsaxt for sharing this with everyone. Hopefully it's effective for as many people as possible. dsaxt mentioned that candidiasis may be due to a mineral deficiency. Bear in mind this is just speculation, but there are other possibilities, looking at this logistically I examined the ingredients to see if there's anything that separates this from others available:
(taken from http://store.yahoo.com/valuenutritionstore/nutveg60capn.html ):
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Each NutriJuiceTM capsule contains over 3,000 phytonutrients taken from 12 vegetables. This broad spectrum of nutrients are essential to health, vitality and energy. NutriJuiceTM helps you meet the USDA recommended daily serving of fruits/vegetables.
Unique flash-glancing:
Made under low temperate, NutriJuiceTM contains nutrients and enzymes not found in other products.
Immediate absorption:
Because NutriJuiceTM contains on binders and no excipients, its nutrients are quickly absorbed into the bloodstream.
Serving Size 1 Capsule
Proprietary Vegetable Juice Blend - 450 mg Parsley Juice Powder, kale Juice Powder, Spinach Juice Powder, Wheat Grass Juice Powder, Brussels Sprout Juice Powder, Asparagus Juice Powder, Broccoli Juice Powder, Cauliflower Juice Powder, Beet Juice Powder, Carrot Juice Powder, Cabbage Juice Powder, Garlic Juice Powder.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notice the claim of quick absorbtion into the bloodstream and also "nutrients and enzymes not found in other products". Enzymes are helpful; there has long been the theory that candidiasis is brought on by the body not digesting food enough and the partially-digested food directly feeding the candida. Or perhaps it's a synergistic effect brought on by the sum-total of the ingredients working together somehow brought on by the special [lack of] processing of its components. It's puzzling in that there are numerous other "superfood" products out there- green food supps that contain various veggies- but to this date have any of them been reported on this forum to lessen candida symptoms?! If mineral deficiency alone were the culprit, we would have gotten wind of this much sooner would we have not?
Garlic juice powder is one of the ingreds. This is a bit atypical, and garlic is a well-known and documented antifungal. But again, there are many different garlic supps available so the previous argument about mineral deficiency could apply here.
Checking out the ingredients of the supp leads me to believe one (or a combo) of the following is happening, leading to the improved condition: a) general alkalizing effect of the product, b) digestive enhancement brought on by live(?) enzymes, c) eradication of candida as well as possibly other anaerobic organisms from the garlic.
dsaxt mentioned the general improvement in all her health issues thus I'm inclined to believe (a) is almost certainly a factor. A saliva pH strip test would shed more light on this. People fortunate enough to successfully achieve acid/alkaline balancing have reported general health improvement, not just improved candida symptoms, so I'm leaning toward this. Thus far though it has been only dsaxt's and one other forum member's positive experiences which are both encouraging but statistically not all that significant- yet. *Anyone* trying this approach, please keep the forum updated :) Thoughts are welcome, thx
