yeah i have those strips too. first time i checked my urine a few months back it didn't change color at all so i was completely acidic. now i checked a few times this week and it fluctuated throughout the day...at one point i was waaaay top alkaline which was very strange. but it was probably because i drank some apple cider vinegar in water that day and tons of lemon water too. you are supposed to check at least two hrs after a meal but i still don't think it is accurate then. i think it is best just to check every morning. you are supposed to test the second pee in the am before eating since the first is so concentrated. i usually just test both. my spit is usually different than my pee too. i am trying to get them both neutral!! i hope the veggies help!
