yes, i believe that taking the fruits will cancel out the effects of the veggies.

in fact, that's my whole point:
i took the veggies alone - no probiotics, no soil organisms, no enzymes, no fruits, no garlic, no other anything!

so,take one or the other:
if you are acidic = take the veggies
if you are alkaline = take the fruits.

as long as you mix and match, you will never know what has what effect!
mixing and matching cost me 6 years of hell.

if i had only taken one type of thing at a time - and started keeping a journal sooner (about what the effect of each was), i would have been cured years ago.

it is only when i stopped taking supplements which mixed ingredients (ie. probiotics with enzymes) and started keeping a journal (6 months ago) that i found out what helped, what hindered - and what i really needed.
