thank you very much. it is very refreshing to hear someone who has had success using a plan of attack similar to mine. i realize i may still have some candida left in me even after i heal the gut, but like you said, it was like wiping crumbs off of a table and that was my thoughts on what may happen. i figured if i stick to the diet, get my pH balanced, and heal my gut, it would be a lot easier to attack whatever is left in me when i am actually digesting things properly. all of those supplements are just too much to process for me at once and i know it because everytime i start popping vitamin A, E, C, antifungals, etc., i start doing worse. i am probably not absorbing half of it anyways since i see tons of undigested food in my stools quite often along with mucous floating around and stuck to the stools as well - i know i know YUK!
i actually just bought powdered glutamine about a half hour ago at the health food store. i read that it helps restore the mucosal lining of the intestines. i figured i would process it better desolved in a liquid. i also bought chelated zinc. i have read a lot about zinc being a key factor in this whole leaky gut thing so it is one pill i think i should take. i am drinking green vibrance everyday for breakfast (a powdered veggie drink) - it has all different types of veggies and probiotics and digestive enzymes in it. powdered magnesium also although i haven't been drinking it quite as much since the green vibrance has been helping keep me regular. i still take jarrow-dophilus on top of that morning and night to try and restore the good bacteria. and the last thing is two tablespoons apple cider vinegar in water daily. oh and tons of water with lemon in it daily. i know it seems like a lot but really it is all liquids and food except for the zinc and the probiotic pill. i am going to check out what you suggested to help break down the acetaldehyde.
so i have some questions for you. how long did it take until your gut was healed completely would you say?
also, are most of your food allergies gone now?
so i think i agree too that the yeast itself does not spread throughout the entire body encasing your organs in fungus except for maybe a true systemic case like an aids patient. i know many posters will get mad on here for me saying that but we all have a right to our own opinion. i don't see how you could tell where exactly the yeast was attacking anyways...i mean i know i get pains in my right eye a lot, it gets dry and tears at the same time, but i don't feel that my eyeball is infected with yeast...sometimes i get just a weird sharp pain in my leg but i don't think there is a cluster of yeast and fungus in the middle of my thigh either. i agree that it is the toxins themselves causing the problem. it would be interesting to see someone actually cut open during an operation who had all of these yeast problems to see where the fungus actually was embedded. who knows. and i am not typing this to argue or start a debate with others...just agreeing with how you feel about it as well.
well i would be interested to hear how long it took for all of your progress on healing the gut and if you can actually eat some normal foods these days...meaning more fruits and grains and things like that.
thanks again for your post!
