This depends on the pathogenicity of the organism and your immune system. Keep in mind that yeast is a commensual organism, and is found everywhere on\in the body in regulated numbers. For the chronic guys like me, the beast has integrated so deeply into the body's physiology, that it has become an excepted cell. shroom
