well i think yogurt is safe because all of the lactose is gone when it turns into yogurt. as long as it is HOMEMADE. store bought yogurt is noooo good! it has added sugars and does not have the necessary amounts of probiotics that we need. it claims it has acidophilus in some of them but i don't think the count of good strains is high enough. i order this starter:

it has 6 packets in each box.
