Subject: My story (cont.)
Hi everyone, You may remember I posted (about a month ago) my story
so far (7 flushes). This weekend I did no.8. Passed only about 40-50
small stones (mainly grain sized)and so feel that I am now more or
less clear and plan to revert to twice yearly flushes from here on in.
Coincidentally, we had a friend staying over the weekend who is a
hospital doctor. I had hoped to produce something in the flush to
offer him for analysis, but as it happened everything was too small.
Fortunately I had a couple in the freezer from several flushes ago,
including one of my 25mmm monsters. He's going to try to get these
analysed in his path. lab. I've suggested, in view of past
difficulties reported on this site, that he simply asks whether or
not these are gallstones, perhaps with an analysis. Will keep you
all posted.
Someone was asking what benefits us flushers experience from the
undertaking. In my case I've gone from having attacks of varying
ferocity every few weeks to having none at all since I started
flushing (about six months now). Also, my energy levels have shot
back up to where they were about five years ago. I had put the loss
of energy (and constant tiredness) down to old age. I've even gone
up a rung on my fitness regime (first time for six years!) Also the
muscular fatigue I had experienced in my legs for several years when
cycling (I do a lot) has completely gone. I've even shaved five
minutes off my journey to work! Generally speaking, its put the fizz
back in my life. Hope this gives some idea of the benefits I've
experienced
Regards to all, Nick
