Yes, you're going to be quite surprised but you can get one for twenty five dollars on eBay, if you look under the manufacturer golden harvest instead of omega -- if you don't mind waiting for more than one to come up, you can even get the all chrome one for that price this time of year. Omega, Acme, (a certain model by) Waring, (i think it's the waring pro) and Golden Harvest are all acme juicers with a centrifugal motor of approximately 500 watts -- literally all made by acme, which Waring recent purchased.

I've bought two so far, one for me, one for my ex-husband, both golden harvest. And I have seen them side by side with the Omega my friend has, and I used to have an acme myself many years ago. the parts are literally interchangeable.

The reason it's so cheap is that not everybody is aware that golden harvest is one of the branded acme juicers or that omega is for that matter. Although enough sellers are now pointing this out that you may have to wait for a listing from a seller who's equally unaware.

simple though, all you have to do is use eBay's save search and once you've got it in your favorite searches and select the right perameters you can have ebay automation eBay you every time a golden harvest listing comes up.

(if you're browsing for juciers, they're usually found in two categories -- home and garden, kitchen, juicer or something like that, andthe other is collectibles, small apppliances, either juicer or others.

and when you enter the search terms, enter golden-harvest with a hyphen, just like that. ebay (and I think google, too) don't insist on a hyphen in a search but they do insist when you use a hyphen that the words are consecutive so you'll get less garbage results.

and if you find one and buy one I'd try to use paypal and buy a buyer protection guarantee for a few bucks, maybe, if you're not used to ebay and aren't very good at really checking out somebody's feedback rating. also, with paypal, if you never get sent anything at all and you file a complaint once they investigate they reverse your payment and the money you lost shows up in your paypal account (wish I'd figured that one out before this year, would have saved me a lot of money in the past).

good luck.
