i was told that floating poop is a sign that you are getting enough fiber, so that would be a good thing.
i've tried to find a good article on it with a google search but haven't found one yet, although there are several sites which address the topic briefly and agree that floating poop=sufficient fiber.
hope this eases your mind a bit.
