Yes, I have a tumor in the left adrenal gland. Has been tested every which way imaginable. Is not a "Cushings Sydrome" tumor nor is it a "Pheo" tumor. Is not malignant. Apparently is "biological inactive". Personally I think that it developed simply from the long effects of the stress-caused adrenaline levels overtaxing the adrenals... and yet my primary problem with adrenal gland secretion is oversecretion of cortisol (my other adrenal gland production shjowed moderately low dopamine, noticeably low epinephrine and very, very low norepinephrine).

RE: "The more serious the source of stress the greater the anxiety and longer recovery time. (I have not listed all of my symptoms, but most if not all of the symptoms you describe I too have experienced.)"

Can I assume that your physical symptoms were more intense also?

BTW, I would strongly suggest getting your cortisol levels tested. The best tests to determine if the levels are elevated are the simply 24-hour Urinary Free Cortisol Tests (simply pee in a provided bottle for 24 hours and they analyze the levels).

Personally, I believe that the HPA Axis (malfunctioning) and the elevated cortisol levels have much more to do with what's going on that the cnadida DIRECTLY... I believe if anything that the candida - if indeed present - has developed as a result of the elevated cortisol. Elevated cortisol is known to provide excellent breeding grounds for candida infestation (in fact over prescribing articificial cortisol like hydrocortisone is a major medical cause of candida overgrowth, so one's own cortisol - at highly elevated levels - would surely be capable of accomplishing the same thing). I have tended to watch my diet, supplement with extra vitamins, etc., so - for me - the elevated cortisol connection seems to provide the most logical answer.

I too have just started the ThreeLac protocol. WIll be interesting to see what it accomplishes. I preceeded it with a very strong and aggressive protocol of strict diet and strong antifungal supplements (Oil of Oregano, Myrrh Tincture, etc.) for about three weeks first. If I could find a sympathetic doctor, I would even go the medication route (Nystatin specifically) ALONG WITH the ThreeLac in an effort to knock this out.

There's supposedly some relatively accurate candida antribody tests that can project whether one has an actual candida overgrowth situation or not, but it seems like many people "pooh-pooh" the accuracy of those tests. Interestingly, I find that most of those naysayers are people who are offering anti candida products for sale and want to cconvince us that just about everyone has candida overgrowth....

Let me know how ThreeLac works out for you.... or if there's any other info that I can provide.
