BIOTIN is the kinky little vitamin that stops Candida from proliferating and also helps healthy hair and nail growth. The only thing I know that blocks Biotin is raw egg white. Thinning hair can also result from Thyroid malfunction, and can be induced from eating legumes (beans like soy) and raw, not cooked, carrots. These are "goitrogens" which block Iodine uptake to the Thyroid.
