jessers11581,
You won't go wrong in getting the Amalgam fillings removed. The older they are the more problems they can cause. Some people tolerate them better than others, but I'm sure over time they all leach mercury into your body. Each tooth is connected to other organs in your body via the meridians.
I'm not sure about the direct connection to candida, but candida along with heavy metals can cause just about any problem you can think about. This is what most don't think about. The body is something like 2/3 water, and all the bad things that a person tends to collect in their life time muddies this water and then the cells don't get proper nutrition. Pesticides, hormones that are injected into meats or fed to chickens, Antibiotics fed to the animals to keep sickness down. Then all the rest of the things we eat in processed food contribute to medical problems, so any that you eliminate is to your advantage.
Removing the Amalgam doesn't have to expose you to more mercury if you use a dentist that knows the k for their removal. This is important. They use a rubber dam and other equipment to prevent yopu from being exposed to it.
