I'll tell you what I think "weird" things in stool are most likely to be, because I pass all this stuff on a regular basis and I've paid close attention to what kind of environment in the bowel and what things (probiotics, Antibiotics , herbs, etc) affect it. I'm not a doctor and this is just what my opinion is based on my own experiences.
Intestinal mucosa is translucid pale yellow and may appear in patches, I've passed chunks a few inches in size. It's a thicker solid flap of mucous like material that covers your intestinal wall.
Excess mucous (what you seem to be describing) looks more or less like the stuff that comes out of your nose (before dust and whatnot colors and thickens it). It's clear or yellow (and can be colored to some degree by other things in your bowel), and it has the consistency of mucous, again it's exactly like the thick pure snot that's in your nose and throat. Your intestinces produce it in an attempt to protect your bowels from pathogenic organisms, it most likely means your body is fighting something and I think it's symptomatic of a huge multitude of intestinal disorders.
Candida is bright pure white flaky bits, looking somewhat like toilet paper in a blender would look like. It's very hard to see when mixed with stool, but if you were to use a clear water enema with a clean bowel you would know if you passed it. I've found that garlic, vinegar, and fresh yogurt produce this stuff in the expelled water while straight water, herbs, or weaker probiotics don't. In extreme cases it could also look like a tangled mass of white sewing thread, I've passed a chunk of this stuff about the size of a walnut that was latched onto a chunk of intestinal mucosa.
Over the last few months I've found a way that works best for me to clean out my bowels. For 1 day I eat nothing solid, only yogurt and vegetable juice and probiotic pills. I use enemas 2-3 times during the day (each is 1 bag garlic water or vinegar, 1 rinse, 1 probiotic like yogurt) and use a laxative (epsom salt) before bed. The next mornign I get up and have veggie soup (all natural organic homemade) and use an enema of only a rinse and fresh warm yogurt, which I try to hold for a few hours. The next few days I go easy on the food, mostly cooked veggies, yogurt, and easy to digest stuff.
