Dear David,

The best place to start is with the Candida Diet and to get each part of the diet in by a step by step process. To do everything at once is not only overwhelming to you, but also to your body. Your body needs times to adjust to changes since is it always in the healing mode, even when you are sick.

But many candida diets miss a couple of very important aspects to health, and that is the importance of "good" animals meats and "good" fats - the whole cholesterol issue was a myth perpetrated by vested interests in the medical community and the food and drug industry. This has caused very serious illnesses today, i.e. cancer, heart disease, diabetes and candida, to name a few. Vegetable oils are very damaging to the body, are toxic and cause serious damage, except Olive oil. Prior to the introduction of these oils heart disease was virtually non-existent - prior to 1900.

This means not only eliminating candida's food supply (sugars, starches & high carb foods), but also eliminating mycotoxins (fungi) in grains, yeast, and moldy & fungi foods, but also eliminating the "bad" fats, oils, margarines, etc.

For more information see my article "How to Successfully Overcome Candida" at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/candidasupport

Also check out all of articles about the cholesterol myth and what "good" animal meats and "good" fats are at Weston A. Price or Dr. Mercola's websites (URLs below).

The best in health,
Bee Wilder
