I haven't read the book, but last month I met an elderly couple at Optimum Health Institute of Austin. Peggy told us, her hubby Dick was diagnosed with colon cancer and had a colonoscopy scheduled. She gave him freshly squeezed grape juice for 6 weeks ( I don't know the amount or what he ate or drank other than the grape juice ). After 6 weeks, Dick's cancer had shrunk so much that surgery wasn't necessary.
He is 81 years old and in good health.
