No, only the fools who take one-sided perspectives and refuse to accept the fact that there might be more to "it" than they're capable of seeing.

Short-sighted egos say "If you don't agree with me, you must be against me", and that's the case with a great deal of people who take sides with either evolution OR creationalism.

The "little" mind has trouble seeing the bigger picture. It needs narrow things, tight and confined ideas. The ego needs these rigidly defined things to give it a sense of identity. People identify with these "beliefs", and because their attachment to that belief is often based on the ego's search for identity, they strongly reject any possibility of "expanding" that "belief". With expansion of thought, awareness and observation, comes the death of the ego and the death of the "little identity".

So of course, all these identities will fight vehemently against any idea of evolution and creationalism BOTH being true. Because their belief in one is almost equally dependant on their NON-BELIEF of the other. If they start believing in both, then they start to lose their narrow identity, and that's a scary thing for a lot of people!

You've been raised in a culture that sees both as being opposing ideas, and apparently you've bought into the same narrow mindset. But, would you still think that if it wasn't hammered into your head by the surrounding society? (This is kind of a stupid question, because I'm pretty sure you're going to miss the whole point of the question and answer with "Yes, I would, because the Bible says so" (even though it actually doesn't))

In short (a little late to be brief now, I know) ... man creates the opposition between evolution and creationalism. In reality there is no opposition between the two. They are both two aspects of one "whole" process, and they work hand in hand with eachother, as friends. The opposition only exists in the intellect.
