I am a Creationist. I also think Science bears merit in finding out the ages of rocks, and other natural things that prove the earth is pretty old. BUT, God's day, as in the six days of creation, might not be a 24 day like we imagine, but in reality could be a million years, maybe a trillion years or more!
We humans do not know 1/2 of 1 percent of the knowledge of the universe, and when we find out the exact time earth was created,if we ever find out, and space travel to distant galaxies we still aren't going to know even all of the universe's knowledge b/c it is infinite. I think this can go on to infinity, but this pursuit will stop when we destroy ourselves or the second coming of Christ.
