If there is a god, and I cant not fathom what images this will bring to many , but if there is a potential intelligence ,like that which gives a sense of magic to the act of say a flower blooming , then sure why would such a god not incorporate the mechanics of evolution to create the world! As far as the god in the christian bible , big white guy on a cloud, I doubt it!
