I have no idea why God created those pesky bugs either, LOL!. But mosquitos eat other critters that eat other critters. And wolves eat critters that eat things. There is a balance to life.
The bible does say, (can't remember where) that He created things for us. I can tell you the joy my 2 year old got out of chasing crickets!
I suppose the point I want to prove is that evolution can not be proven. There are other answers that make more sense than it all came from nothing. You can't get something from nothing, no laws, mathmatical or otherwise allow for something to come from nothing.

PS Glad you still have a little spot in you for God ;-)
